PeopleShare is partnered with a leading company in Alburtis, PA, seeking Data Center Technicians.
This role is responsible for assembling servers and switches into racks by interpreting various build documents, schematics, and routing lists. This role supports data center operations through installation, maintenance, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Data Center Technician Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $26.50/hr
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Alburtis, PA
Data Center Technician Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, operate, and maintain data center equipment.
- Read and interpret build documents, schematics, and cable routing lists.
- Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling following industry standards.
- Perform cabling, racking, server installations, and distribution frame terminations.
- Maintain accurate system documentation and data entry records.
Data Center Technician Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience cabling complex data rack systems.
- Strong knowledge of data center technology, electronics, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with cable and fiber testing equipment.
- Understanding of data rack cabling standards and ESD handling procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and routing lists.
