Hydraulics Technician Details:
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:30am-3pm
- Pay Rate: $25-32
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Quakertown, PA
Hydraulics Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose wind turbine hydraulic components—including manifolds, power units, sub‑assemblies, tubing, and hoses—based on customer repair requests.
- Follow written instructions and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
- Use mechanical hand tools and equipment such as torque wrenches, pneumatic grinders, impact guns, drills, taps, dies, overhead cranes (manual and powered), forklifts, pallet jacks, and rubber mallets.
- Record all parts, materials, and serial‑tracked identification details in the shop order/MRP system.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times.
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment and required PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, bump caps, steel‑toed boots, and protective clothing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line leader or plant manager.
Hydraulics Technician Requirements:
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels and with customers.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a highly motivated team.
- Flexible team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts (certification preferred), overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills; ability to work within an MRP/shop order system.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when recording serial‑tracked parts and repair information.
