PeopleShare is seeking a Credit and Collections Representative to join our team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, adaptable, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. This role plays a critical part in
reviewing credit holds, managing account collections, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Onsite- in Somerset, NJ area
Pay: $25-$27.hr
Temp to Hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review orders on credit hold and decide, within company policy, whether to release or continue holding based on account status.
- Manage collections for delinquent accounts within an assigned portfolio; provide guidance to Territory Managers as needed.
- Respond to customer and Territory Manager inquiries, statements, and returned mail; address bi‑weekly past‑due notices.
- Investigate financial stability and creditworthiness of prospective customers; establish and adjust credit limits and payment terms.
- Recommend accounts for litigation outsourcing and prepare complete collection files for review by the Credit & Collections Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field OR Certified Credit Executive (CCE) credentials.
- 3–5 years of credit & collections experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with credit reporting systems (Dun & Bradstreet, Experian).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
