Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Schedule: 9am-5:3pm
Position Overview
The Production Packer plays a key role in the production and packaging of a wide range of manufactured products. This position supports multiple areas of manufacturing, including shipping, assembly, and quality.
Essential Functions
Perform production tasks including manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
Complete kitting operations for complex kits
Move product and inventory using a forklift and bin system
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
Execute and document required quality inspections
Assemble and repack automotive kits per customer specifications
Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
Conduct final inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Follow all corporate and OSHA safety regulations
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of production experience, or a combination of education and experience
Ability to meet department productivity standards
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
Basic math skills
Ability to perform visual quality inspections
Ability to use power tools and related equipment
- Standing for extended periods
- Repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold due to warehouse environment
