Production Supervisor (Night Shift; Training on Days) – $50,000–$60,000/year
Location: Suffolk, VA
Schedule: Night Shift (initial training on Day Shift; duration varies ~30–90+ days based on readiness)
Pay: $50,000–$60,000 annually (DOE)
What You’ll Do
Supervise and coach operators; run quick shift huddles and communicate priorities
Oversee setups, changeovers, and production paperwork (lot codes, order changes, rework)
Track downtime and metrics; escalate maintenance/quality issues promptly
Enforce safety, sanitation, and mobile-device policies; keep the floor audit-ready
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or agricultural processing
Comfortable with basic production software and Microsoft Excel/Word
Able to work in a physical, fast-paced plant (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs; temperature and noise variation)
Nice to Have
Physical/Work Environment - Manufacturing setting with varying temperatures, food-grade dust/allergens (peanuts), moving equipment, and moderate noise. PPE provided/required.
