Opportunity to lead estimating efforts in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
Work with a respected construction and HVAC company in the Tidewater area.
Job Description:
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in construction, HVAC, or a similar role.
Proficient with blueprints, technical documents, cost estimation software, CAD, and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; Timberline experience preferred.
Must have experience with fabrication and installation projects from start to finish, as the bulk of work is produced in-house. Not interested in glass estimators.
Job Requirements:
Promote a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
Handle multiple estimates, resolve issues, and make decisions under bid deadlines.
Plan projects, assess specifications, and prepare detailed budgets.
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and documentation for material and labor requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and performance.
Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with project objectives.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
