Production Assembler
Location: Haddon Heights, NJ 08035
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Duration: Temporary Assignment
About the Opportunity
PeopleShare is seeking a Production Assembler to join a premier manufacturer of smell and taste testing products in Haddon Heights, NJ. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on production work and take pride in delivering high-quality products. A normal sense of smell is required, as odor verification is a critical part of the quality control process.
Responsibilities
- Hand assemble smell and taste test kits according to customer specifications
- Apply scratch-and-sniff labels, assemble paper test booklets, taste test strips, and smell wands
- Perform odor quality control checks to ensure product accuracy and consistency
- Package completed orders for shipment
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet ISO standards
- Operate printing and stamping equipment (training provided)
- Maintain accurate production and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to support an efficient assembly process
Requirements
- Must have a normal sense of smell for quality control purposes
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
