Helper / Operator
Location: Bellmawr, NJ 08031
Department: Food Production
Duration: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (rotating days, weekend availability required)
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Pay:
- Packaging/Production Helper: $17.05/hr
- Packaging/Production Operator: $17.50/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our food production team as Helpers and Operators. In this role, you will support the production and packaging of bakery products while maintaining quality, food safety, and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Package and inspect finished products.
- Maintain product flow throughout the production line.
- Set up and operate production equipment (Operators).
- Monitor product quality and production specifications.
- Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation.
- Stack, label, and prepare products for shipment.
- Complete production paperwork and quality checks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing, food production, packaging, or machine operation experience is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (required for Operators).
Work Environment
- Food manufacturing/bakery facility.
- Exposure to heat, dust, moving machinery, and wet/slippery floors.
- Required use of PPE including uniforms, gloves, and safety footwear.
