Assembly Technician
Schedule: First Shift | 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday
Location: Montgomeryville, PA
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Job Type: Full‑Time
A manufacturing company in Montgomeryville, PA is hiring an Assembly Technician to support mechanical assembly, fabrication, and machine build operations. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments. The position offers steady first‑shift hours in a clean, organized shop.
Assembly Technician Responsibilities
Assemble custom machinery, mechanical components, and fabricated metal parts using blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions
Perform basic fabrication and production tasks including drilling, cutting, grinding, fitting, and fastening parts
Operate shop and production equipment such as drill presses, saws, punch presses, shears, and hand/power tools
Inspect assembled components to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper alignment
Assist with basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and rework as needed
Support daily production goals and complete assignments on schedule
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety standards
Assembly Technician Requirements
1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or production
Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a shop or production setting
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic math and measurement skills
