1st Shift Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable) needed for a leading company in Bethlehem, PA!
Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Bethlehem, PA in their search for an Accounting Clerk.
Pay Rate: $21-24/hour
Job Type: Long-term temp position
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
Manage day‑to‑day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions with accuracy and timeliness.
Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and vendor statements.
Reconcile accounts and maintain organized financial records.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments professionally.
Assist with month‑end closing activities and general bookkeeping tasks.
Prepare financial reports and summaries using Excel and QuickBooks.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold internal accounting standards.
Support the finance team with additional administrative or accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general bookkeeping.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering, spreadsheets).
Experience with QuickBooks
Solid bookkeeping background preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a flexible, evolving environment.
