Machine Operator Assistant – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Schedule: Full‑time, 2nd or 3rd Shift
Location: Telford, PA
A packaging manufacturer is seeking experienced Machine Operator Assistants to support high‑volume manufacturing and extrusion operations. This role is responsible for operating production machinery, performing quality checks, supporting changeovers, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Candidates with machine operator experience in manufacturing, extrusion, printing, or packaging are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Operate production, extrusion, and press equipment
Perform changeovers, verify materials, and maintain production
Assist with troubleshooting, machine PM, and basic maintenance tasks
Follow all safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and basic hand tools
Support operations including hanging rolls, maintaining ink/adhesive levels, and preparing for upcoming jobs
Perform physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs
Qualifications
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
Ability to operate equipment (training provided)
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
