Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production
Adjust blades, tensions, and machine settings according to production specifications
Inspect finished material to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer and company standards
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate production records, including measurements, scrap, and downtime documentation
Follow all safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment
Support and collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating slitter machinery (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards
- Ability to read work orders, measurements, and production specifications accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to train on 1st shift before transitioning to a 2nd shift schedule
