PeopleShare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic! This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and keeping production running smoothly.
Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd/3rd Shift
Pay: $35-40/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:30am
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Apply knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics in daily maintenance tasks.
Use power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
Ensure proper operation of machinery by completing PMs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines using diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer instructions.
Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems.
Install and maintain fixtures and facility equipment as needed.
Perform routine servicing such as oiling, greasing, and fueling equipment.
Identify and correct potential safety hazards.
Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic preferred.
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and reading schematics.
Skilled in building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times.
Willingness to work overtime and flexible weekend hours.
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
