We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions within our organization. This role is fully onsite and is responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of all human resources activities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and confident managing HR operations, employee relations, payroll, and compliance. This position is $85-$90k.
HR Operations & Administration:
• Maintain department records, reports, employee files, organizational charts, and rosters.
• Participate in management and staff meetings as needed.
• Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update the employee handbook.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
• Administer benefits and payroll, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including timecard review, OT/on‑call pay, and PTO tracking.
• Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage benefit changes, invoice approvals, policy evaluations, and claims resolution
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
• Lead full‑cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Conduct exit interviews and support continuous improvement of retention strategies.
• Partner with managers to assess staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Compensation & Performance Management
• Oversee the company’s 401(k) and Profit‑Sharing programs, including employee support and allocation processes.
• Manage the annual performance evaluation process and ensure fair merit adjustments.
• Conduct compensation studies and develop salary structures based on market data.
Employee Relations & Development:
• Counsel managers and employees on HR policies, performance, and workplace issues.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and promote positive employee relations.
• Consult with leadership on training and development needs.
• Support organizational assessments and long‑term workforce planning.
Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain strong knowledge of employment and labor regulations, including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
• Notify the President of any major HR issues and recommend policy or procedural changes.
