We are currently hiring for a HR Manager position in the Somerset, NJ area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with PTO, Benefits, 401k, and salary is $80-$85k.
This role is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource functions.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm, Fully on sight.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Establishing and maintaining department records, reports, employee files, organizational charts, and employee rosters.
• Processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including ensuring accurate submission of timecards, OT/on-call pay, vacation/sick time, and addressing payroll inquiries or errors.
• Managing benefits administration, 401K, and Profit-Sharing accounts.
• Leading talent acquisition: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and conducting exit interviews.
• Overseeing annual performance evaluations and salary adjustments.
• Developing and maintaining personnel policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Providing guidance and counseling to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
• Supporting organizational assessment, training, and development strategies.
Requirements:
• Experience with payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Proven experience in HR management, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
