- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $17 - $22 (negotiable with the right experience)
Medical Biller Job Description:
Manage and follow up on unpaid or denied medical claims
Utilize NextGen EHR and related systems for accurate claim processing
Review, correct, and appeal denied or unpaid claims
Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients via phone and email
Assist patients with billing inquiries and provide accurate pre-treatment estimates
Support medical collections by contacting patients and payers as needed
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with senior billing specialists to resolve complex issues
Medical Biller Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of medical billing experience
- Familiarity with orthopedic terminology is highly desirable
- Experience working within NextGen or a similar EHR system
- Previous experience resolving unpaid claims in a high-volume setting
- Strong sense of urgency and a positive, proactive attitude
