Unit Coordinator Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
- Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr.
- On-site position
- Healthcare benefits after 30 days
Unit Coordinator Job Description:
- Prepares and compiles medical records in the Care Center
- Assembles and disassembles contents of medical records
- Schedules appointments and arranges transportation for Care Center residents
- Assists nursing staff with admissions and discharge paperwork
- Covers Care Center front desk as needed
- Monitors all fax machines at nursing station and delivers faxes to the appropriate nurses and departments
- Answers phone at nursing station and directs the calls appropriately and promptly
- Other administrative duties required
Unit Coordinator Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- 1+ year clinical experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical records regulations
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain HIPPA requirements
- Must pass background checks and medical clearances
