Medical Records Coordinator Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
- Pay Rate: $55k-$58k
- On-site position
- Healthcare benefits after 30 days
Medical Records Coordinator Job Description:
- Review and maintain and file medical records for residents; thin reports as needed
- Run reports and complete audits as required
- Complete admissions, discharge, MD and nursing audits to ensure compliance
- Complete physician credentialing for new and current physicians
- Call, request and retrieve all medical records as needed
- Maintain all discharge charge files
- Oversee Unit Coordinators
- Other administrative duties required
Medical Records Coordinator Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- 3+ years’ experience as a Unit Clerk or Unit Secretary
- Strong knowledge of medical records regulations
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain HIPPA requirements
- Must pass background checks and medical clearances
