Assembler Job Description:
- Assemble boilers and thermal control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Install valves, pumps, expansion tanks, heat exchangers, controls, sensors, and related components.
- Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing of completed assemblies.
- Troubleshoot assembly, mechanical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards, engineering requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and test documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve assembly processes and product performance.
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, material handling, and workstation organization.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
