PeopleShare has an opening in Pennsauken, NJ for a CIP Operator. We are looking for candidates with a Sanitation background within Food Manufacturing environments.
Title: CIP Operator (Clean in Process, Sanitation)
Location: Pennsauken, NJ 08110
Duration: 4 month contract-to-hire
Pay: $19.67/hr
Schedule: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM, 2-2-3 rotating shift
OVERVIEW
The CIP II Operator will ensure equipment and machinery is cleaned in a safe and efficient manner based on the production schedule and in compliance with the approved health and sanitation practices. Possess the ability to demonstrate the ability to run the entire circuit across all lines at their assigned facility and demonstrate the knowledge of Kosher and/or Allergen processes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will help to ensure an efficient and safe production run by:
- Perform cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings; monitor CIP circuits and document parameters.
- Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested.
- Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning scheduled and as required.
- Perform standardized cleaning and procedures with caustic and cleaning chemical; complete parts changeover as needed.
- Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and notify management of any concerns unable to be resolved.
- Monitor/Inspect Color code program for buckets and cleaning tools.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Previous experience working with chemicals is preferred.
- A great attitude and willingness to work hard.
- Desire to learn and accomplish tasks as assigned.
WILL BE ABLE TO
- Complete required LO/TO, Chemical, HAACP, HECP and Chemical training.
- Assemble pumps, mills, piping configurations (including the manual cleaning process at Lee Road South).
- Forklift and Scissor lift training required for chemical transport and overhead tasks.
- Accurately follow directions, work effectively in teams, and contribute a positive attitude each day.
- Effectively communicates information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to follow and implement written or oral instructions.
- Ability to problem solve with limited information.
- Wear Food Manufacturing GMP Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - hard hat, hairnet (head and beard if applicable), steel toes shoes/boots, face mask, no facial piercings, false eyelashes or fake fingernails.
- Ability to wear additional PPE while completing the CIP circuit, no limited to chemical suits and boots and face shield.
