HVAC Panel Wire Technician
Location: Frederick, MD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Panel Wire Technician to support the wiring and electrical troubleshooting of industrial and commercial HVAC systems. This role focuses on precision panel wiring, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically minded, and able to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform panel wiring for industrial and commercial HVAC systems
- Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure proper installation
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose wiring problems
- Route and organize wiring within control panels efficiently and accurately
- Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate technical documentation related to wiring and testing
- Collaborate with technicians, assemblers, and engineering teams to meet production goals
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level experience in electrical wiring
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with hand tools and electrical safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good time management and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform manual panel wiring tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working with hand tools and electrical components
- Able to stand, bend, and move as required in a production environment
