Packers & Forklift Operators – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Joliet / Elwood, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Weekly Pay • Full‑Time 40 Hours • Long‑Term & Stable Work • Overtime Potential
Mandatory Facility walk‑throughs are provided before starting on Mondays and Thursdays
Shifts
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rates
Packers: $18.50 – $19.50/hr
Forklift Operators: Based on experience
About the Roles
We are hiring dependable Packers and experienced Forklift Operators to support a busy distribution center handling large industrial parts. These are full‑time, long‑term positions with steady 40‑hour schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime.
Packer Responsibilities
Pack, sort, and prepare industrial parts for shipment
Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and verify items
Enter basic data into the system
Label, stack, and palletize materials
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety and production guidelines
Forklift Operator Responsibilities
Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts (experience required)
Move, stage, and store large industrial parts throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trailers
Perform daily equipment safety checks
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements
Must be able to work Monday–Friday on assigned shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
Packers: Must be able to read, enter data, and use RF scanners
Forklift Operators: Must have prior experience with both sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts
Strong teamwork and communication skills
