Digitizing & Production Support Technician
Hourly Pay: $16/hr
We are growing our manufacturing team and are looking for reliable, hands‑on individuals who enjoy learning new skills and contributing to a high‑quality production environment. As a Digitizing & Production Support Technician, you will play an important role in turning raw materials into finished components that support our full production line. No prior experience is required—we are ready to train motivated candidates who want to build valuable technical skills.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support our Digitizing Technician while gaining experience across a range of specialized equipment. You will learn how to:
- Use the Gerber plotter to scan hard patterns into digital files.
- Work with software such as CorelDRAW to create cut files for the Gerber cutter, call signs, and patch designs for our Kern laser cutter.
- Use Wilcom Embroidery Studio to create digitized embroidery files.
- Operate the Embroidery Machines and Kern Laser Cutter.

Additional Responsibilities
As part of the production team, you will also:
- Learn the mechanical functions of our cutting machines and operate them safely.
- Review Job Travelers to determine which materials to cut and in what quantities.
- Inspect materials for flaws before cutting.
- Cut raw materials to specification and maintain organization of cut pieces.
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues immediately.
- Set correct temperature, pressure, and power settings on the Radio Frequency Welder and ensure welds match production samples.
- Apply waterproof taping according to samples, checking seams and overall quality.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety policies, including dress and footwear requirements.
- Support other production tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience with CorelDRAW is a plus, but not required. We will train you.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and read measuring tools such as rulers or tape measures.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort making minor machine adjustments.
- Ability to work with measuring devices, good spatial perception, and coordinated hand/foot movements.
