Now Hiring: Experienced Print Production Technician
Join a fast-paced commercial print production facility producing large-scale digital print projects for business clients. This is a hands-on role for detail-oriented professionals with digital press or print production experience who are looking to grow their careers in a collaborative and high-volume environment.
This is not a retail print shop position — you’ll be part of a dedicated production facility operating industry-leading digital press and finishing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital print presses such as HP Indigo, HP Wide Format, RICO, Color RICO devices, and roll-to-roll presses
- Perform routine press maintenance: cleaning, consumables replacement, filters, bottles, and waste container changes
- Set up and run RIP and print software including Fiery Front Ends, Q-Direct, Onyx, FreeFlow, and ColorEX
- Manage color calibration, profiling, and workflow optimization for consistent print quality
- Handle prepress and file preparation, including imposition and preflight checks
- Operate finishing and digital bindery equipment such as rotary dye cutters, slitters, trimmers, and laminators
- Troubleshoot production and color issues to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to increase throughput and maintain on-time delivery
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a commercial print or digital press environment
- Strong understanding of color management, substrates, and prepress workflows
- Familiarity with Fiery, Q-Direct, and other digital print software systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
