Job Description:
The IT Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the organization’s technology systems, providing hands-on technical support and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT resources for all staff. This role manages IT assets, coordinates infrastructure projects, and collaborates with external consultants to maintain optimal network performance. The IT Coordinator also supervises the IT Service Desk Technician, fostering skill development and operational excellence across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Manage IT help desk tickets to ensure timely and high-quality resolutions
Maintain and track IT assets, licenses, and system documentation
Oversee procurement, setup, and maintenance of all IT equipment
Administer systems including Microsoft 365, Adobe Admin Console, and Verizon Business accounts
Implement and enforce IT security standards and backup procedures
Collaborate with consultants on infrastructure upgrades and network improvements
Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and training materials
Supervise, coach, and evaluate IT Service Desk Technician performance
Lead or assist with IT projects and organizational technology initiatives
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Proven experience in IT support or coordination within a fast-paced, multi-user environment
Experience managing vendors, assets, and project timelines
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Adobe Admin Console, and mobile device management (iOS/Android)
Familiar with IT security protocols, network configuration, and data backup systems
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
