Position Overview:
As the Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of daily office operations, handling administrative tasks including phone management, filing, order entry, and assisting other departments. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
• Support various departments with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
• Enter and track customer orders accurately and promptly
• Manage inventory records and assist with purchase order processing
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and company ERP system (JobBOSS²)
• Ensure office procedures run smoothly and support overall team productivity
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an administrative, office assistant, or clerical support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
• Experience with inventory management and purchase orders
• Familiarity with JobBOSS² or similar ERP/order entry systems is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
