Position Overview:
A leading and rapidly growing metal distribution company is seeking Stand-Up Forklift Operators for its Charlotte, NC warehouse. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position with competitive pay and a strong benefits package. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a multi-directional stand-up reach forklift to move and handle building materials
• Lift and carry materials up to 70 lbs safely and efficiently
• Accurately pull materials from inventory and package orders for delivery
• Secure loads properly for next-day shipping
• Check the accuracy of outgoing orders and incoming shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse throughout your shift
Qualifications:
• Experience with stand-up forklifts preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Must be able to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
