We are seeking a 1st shift skilled Screw Machine Operator to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience operating multi-spindle CAM manual lathes—specifically Davenport or Acme-Gridley machines.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain Davenport or Acme-Gridley multi-spindle screw machines.
Set up tooling, cams, gears, and determine optimal cutting speeds and feeds for production runs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks to maintain quality throughout production.
Monitor tool wear and perform tool changes or replacements as needed.
Work with various metals including brass, aluminum, and steel.
Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to inspect machined components.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience operating multi-spindle CAM manual lathes.
Hands-on experience with Davenport or Acme-Gridley screw machines is required.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and measurement instruments.
Ability to perform accurate and timely inspections throughout the production process.
