JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist
PAY RATE: $30/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm & Friday OT as needed 5am - 11am
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
Safely and efficiently operate CNC equipment MUST HAVE LATHE EXPERIENCE (plus to have worked with a Murasaki Or Doosan lathe)
Read, understand and follow prints.
Productively operate machine to produce components at or above established cycle time and quality level.
Change, touch off and adjust off-sets as necessary to maintain dimensions.
Perform set-up and change over required to run differing part numbers
Load raw material and unload parts.
Perform manual de-burring as needed.
Perform in-process inspection of machined components.
Verify parts for conformance to specification using measuring devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete daily machine up keep and preventative maintenance as defined.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (I.E. EDUCATION, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, PARTICULAR SOFTWARE OR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS, SPECIFIC GPA):
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years related experience.
Proficient with micrometers, calipers and/or gages to check accuracy of work.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand for 10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach with hands/arms, push/pull to move product using a pallet jack.
Visual acuity.
Able to use measurement tools to inspect parts
Must have lathe experience (Name of machines Doosan, Daewoo, Mori, Yamazaki)
Must be familiar with G code (ok if they are familiar with it but cannot program, plus if they can)
Must be able to alter the program (this is not a CAD system) Hand programming
Manufacturing parts up to 800 plbs: NOT interested in machinists that have done small parts such as medical screws “Branch Medical”
On interview will be shown a machine running and asked “what is this tool doing?”
Very physical role, must be able to lift
