Quality Associate Job Details:
- Schedule: 1st shift
- Pay Rate: up to $85k
Quality Associate Job Description:
- Collaborate with compliance and internal teams to complete ISO 13485 and AS 9100 audits and resolve quality issues.
- Review customer specifications, technical drawings, and material requirements to ensure compliance.
- Manage non-conformance resolutions and implement CAPA plans with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Conduct First Article Inspections, prepare customer reports, and support the quality assurance team.
- Maintain tool calibrations and perform lab testing for mechanical properties and grain analysis.
Quality Associate Job Requirements:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with expertise in metallurgy or metal manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Experience in metallurgical lab processes, including tensile testing, hardness testing, surface roughness measurement, and grain size analysis.
- Proficient in computer use with a strong understanding of MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and tools like PPAP, FMEA, DOE, SPC, GR&R, and CPK is highly desirable.
