Job Details for GED Instructor:
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30AM-5PM
- Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities for GED Instructor:
- Design and implement instructional activities for a cohort of adult learners preparing for GED, CRC, digital literacy, and industry certification
- Conduct assessments in line with vendor guidelines and VADOE policies
- Collaborate with community college staff to develop a contextualized curriculum
- Create program timelines and weekly schedules to encourage learner persistence and guide capstone projects
- Keep accurate data and records in the VADOE Adult Student Profile Document (ASPD) and participate in staff meetings and development activities
GED Instructor Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Teaching experience, with a preference for experience with adult learners
- Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
