Kit Assembler
Location: Frederick, MD
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (weekend hours expected as needed)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kit Assembler to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for assembling and packaging client-branded kits, preparing materials for shipment, and ensuring all products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can follow instructions accurately, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assemble client-branded kits and boxes according to specifications.
- Pick, sort, and organize materials required for kit assembly.
- Package finished products and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting production goals.
- Inspect materials and completed kits to ensure quality standards are met.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory handling and material movement.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, assembly, packaging, production, or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and occasional weekend shifts.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Background check required.
- 4-panel drug screen required (THC excluded from testing).
