Tool Room Machinist Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience

Tool Room Machinist Job Description:
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tooling, fixtures, jigs, and components used throughout the manufacturing process
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, EDM equipment, and other machining equipment to produce high-precision parts
- Program CNC machines using CAM software and write, modify, or optimize CNC programs
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment, to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met
- Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, and jigs for manufacturing operations
- Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot CNC programming and mechanical issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other shop tools safely and effectively
- Assist with the assembly of machined components as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling, machining, and manufacturing processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures
Tool Room Machinist Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Tool Room Machinist, CNC Machinist, or in a similar precision machining role
- Proficiency in CNC programming using Fanuc controls or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings
- Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Experience with EDM equipment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and CAM programming
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience with tooling setup, fixtures, jigs, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes preferred
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus
- Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
