Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Training: Day Shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (temporary during building startup)

The Machine Operator supports the production team by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of extrusion equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is hands‑on and essential to keeping the extrusion line running safely, efficiently, and with consistent product quality. Key Responsibilities
Extrusion line support — Assist Lead Operator with machine setup, startup, operation, and shutdown
Material loading — Load resins, additives, and colorants into hoppers and feeders
Quality checks — Perform visual inspections and basic measurements
Product handling — Remove, package, and label finished products
Changeovers — Clean and prepare tooling/equipment for product transitions
Safety & 5S compliance — Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow PPE requirements
Troubleshooting support — Assist operators and maintenance with minor adjustments
Material transport — Move raw materials and finished goods (pallet jack or forklift if certified)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of machine operation experience in manufacturing
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements
Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a warm, noisy factory environment
Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at various heights
Must wear required PPE (gloves, glasses, hearing protection, steel‑toe footwear)
