Income Partner – Corporate & Business Counseling
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office)
Compensation: $175,000 – $190,000 DOE + Benefits
Our client, a well-established and respected Chicago-based law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Corporate & Business Counseling Practice Group at the Income Partner level.

The Opportunity
Join a well-established Chicago law firm as an Income Partner in its Corporate & Business Counseling practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate matters, continue growing an existing book of business, and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a supportive and collegial environment.
The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of corporate law experience, a portable book of business, and a passion for serving as a trusted advisor to business clients. Attorneys benefit from greater autonomy in managing their practice while having access to the resources, support, and collaboration of an established firm.

J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
7–10 years of corporate and business law experience
Portable book of business required
Minimum portable book of business of approximately $500,000–$600,000
Demonstrated ability to develop, grow, and maintain client relationships
Experience handling sophisticated corporate transactions and business counseling matters
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities
Strong academic credentials and business acumen preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $175,000 – $190,000, depending on experience
