Income Partner – Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office)
Compensation: $175,000 – $190,000 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits
Our client, a well-established and highly respected Chicago-based law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice at the Income Partner level.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 7–10 years of litigation experience and a portable book of business who is looking to continue growing their practice in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice represents clients in a broad range of matters, including:
Business & Commercial Litigation
Corporate & Partnership Disputes
Environmental Litigation
Family Law
Intellectual Property Litigation
Municipal Law & Land Use
Securities Litigation
Attorneys work closely with clients throughout every stage of litigation, from early case strategy and dispute resolution through trial and appeal.
Responsibilities
Manage sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings.
Manage large-scale document productions and discovery.
Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and fellow attorneys.
Continue growing an existing book of business while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to identify opportunities to better serve clients.
Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
7–10 years of litigation experience.
Portable book of business required.
Minimum portable book of business of approximately $500,000–$600,000.
Experience handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters.
Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, oral arguments, and complex document productions.
Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to establish, grow, and maintain client relationships.
Strong academic credentials preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $175,000–$190,000, depending on experience.
