We're looking for a dependable Sanitation Technician to help keep our food manufacturing facility clean, safe, and production-ready. In this role, you'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, production areas, and workspaces to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, sanitation, warehouse, or production experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
- Operate CIP (Clean-In-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place) systems
- Complete sanitation logs and required documentation
- Monitor chemical concentrations and sanitation processes
- Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, industrial, sanitation, or warehouse experience
- Ability to work in cold, warm, wet, and humid environments
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the shift
- Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots and protective sanitation gear
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
