Space Planner (Office)
Schedule: M-F 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm
Pay: $50,000 - $60,000
About the Role:
This position focuses on creating accurate, well-organized 2D and 3D space plans based on client specifications while supporting sales and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do:
- Create shell layouts along with detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop efficient and functional floor plans
- Manage Phase 1 schedules, Phase 2 layouts, lighting plans, and cabinetry drawings
- Maintain organized CAD files and design libraries
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams as needed
- Support developed product drawings and resolve design issues as projects progress
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree in CAD or Interior Design (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 1+ year of space planning experience
- 1+ year of AutoCAD experience (2D & 3D)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Work Environment:
Office-based role with minimal physical demands; occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
