Counter / Customer Sales Associate
Location: Frederick, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer‑focused Counter/Customer Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support daily store operations by assisting customers with plumbing and HVAC product needs, processing transactions, and supporting inventory and delivery tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone
- Greet customers and assist with product selection, usage guidance, and order support
- Accurately process cash and credit card transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and processing incoming shipments
- Load and unload materials for customers
- Load/unload delivery vehicles as needed
- Occasionally deliver products safely using a company vehicle (DOT required)
Qualifications
- Plumbing and/or HVAC experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and handle materials
- Valid driver’s license; DOT qualification for delivery tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented
