Diesel Technician (Field Service) – Frederick, MD
$35–$46/hr + OT, Double-Time & On-Call Pay
Looking for an experienced Diesel Technician who wants a field role without overnight travel? Work independently, handle advanced diagnostics, and be home every night.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose & repair diesel engines (mechanical + ECM systems)
- Troubleshoot generators and perform PMs
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues
- Communicate clearly with customers on-site
- Complete service reports, timecards, and photos daily
What You Need
- Strong diesel engine experience (diagnostics & repair)
- Generator experience (PMs + troubleshooting)
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Good communication & documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license (clean record)
