Title: Production Planner - Warehouse Inventory
Location: Burlington, NJ 08016
Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
(currently on mandatory overtime 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, warehouse operations, quality, procurement, logistics, and customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed operational decisions.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in planning, scheduling, inventory management, and execution of operational processes.
- Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as business needs require.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), production planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively, build strong relationships, and coordinate activities across departments.
- Adaptability to dynamic warehouse and production environments, with a strong understanding of safety standards and operational best practices.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in production planning, warehouse planning, fulfillment operations, or a related operational environment.
- Proficiency in WMS or other planning and scheduling systems/tools.
- Strong analytical background with experience using data to optimize planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and production workflows.
- Experience with project management platforms or tools; knowledge of methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel-based analysis and reporting.
