PeopleShare is hiring a Production Operator for a manufacturing company in Newtown, PA for a full‑service, custom manufacturer of natural and synthetic rubber products for the aerospace, electronic, and transportation industries. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain consistent quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Production Operator Job Details:

$17.50/hr during training (6:00am–2:30pm, Mon-Fri 2–3 weeks)
$18.50/hr after moving to 2nd shift (2:30pm–1:00am, Mon–Thurs)

Production Operator Job Description:

Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
Work from prints, sketches, shop orders, and verbal instructions.
Meet standard production quotas while maintaining quality.
Clean and lubricate machines; replace cutting fluids and worn or broken tools as needed.
Perform material handling for incoming/outgoing materials, molds, and parts.
Use measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, and scales to ensure accuracy.

Production Operator Job Requirements:

Prior experience with machining or manufacturing equipment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents (prints, sketches, shop orders).
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work 2nd shift after training.
