Location: Trenton, NJ
Pay: $25–$28/hr
Schedule: Must be flexible for 1st and 2nd shift (Training will begin on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift once it launches)
PeopleShare is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing team in Trenton, NJ. This role involves assembling large gas engines, power equipment, and industrial systems, making it an excellent fit for mechanically and electrically inclined individuals. Maintenance Technicians with strong mechanical aptitude are also encouraged to apply. Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for assembling modules, components, and complete systems while working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality production.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical modules and subassemblies according to technical specifications
- Integrate various components into complete mechanical or electro‑mechanical systems
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to support smooth production flow
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and safety protocols
- Perform quality checks and report any issues or deviations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Technical vocational training (especially in the metal or mechanical sector) is a strong plus
- Experience as a metal worker, mechanical engineering technician, locksmith, or similar trade is beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
