Key Responsibilities
• Sample Management: Preparing, packing, and sealing samples for shipment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Logistics & Shipping: Determining the most efficient shipping methods and preparing required documentation (invoices, BOLs, customs forms).
• Computer Literacy & Tracking: Using computer systems to update shipment statuses, tracking, and tracing packages to ensure timely delivery.
• Database Management: Maintaining accurate digital logs of daily shipments, inventory levels, and recipient information.
• Coordination: Communicating with internal departments and external couriers to coordinate pickups and resolve issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Computer Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, WMS systems).
• Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of shipping methods, carrier regulations, and international/domestic shipping procedures.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in labeling and verifying contents to prevent lost or damaged shipments.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous requests and meet strict dispatch deadlines.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for communicating with couriers and stakeholders.
