Part-Time Receptionist – Suffolk, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (first week of each month only)
Hours: ~40 hours per month
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Job Description
PeopleShare is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to support a Suffolk-based property management office during the first week of each month. This role is ideal for someone dependable, friendly, and comfortable assisting tenants and handling front‑office responsibilities.
The Receptionist will provide customer service, answer incoming calls, assist with rent collection, and support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Greet and assist tenants and visitors
Address customer concerns and escalate issues when needed
Collect rent payments and provide basic account assistance
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document organization
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Support staff with additional tasks during the busy first week of each month
Requirements
Real Estate/Property Management knowledge preferred
Customer service or receptionist experience preferred
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, office software)
Dependable and punctual
Friendly, patient, and professional communication style
Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and respectfully
