Warehouse Associates & Associate Shop Technicians – Field Distribution
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay: $17–$18/hr (Weekly Pay)
1st Shift: Start as early as 6:00 AM or 7 AM –3:30 or 4:00 PM
About the Roles
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join a growing distribution and assembly facility. These positions offer hands-on work, stability, and the opportunity to grow into permanent roles. This is a combination of computer-based work and warehouse floor work, ideal for candidates who enjoy variety in their day.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities
General warehouse duties, including staging, organizing, and preparing products for shipment
Unboxing copiers and parts, preparing units to be rolled into the shop
Applying shipping documents and packing slips to outgoing shipments
Assisting with QA as needed
Lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
Team lifting required for items over 50 lbs
Working in and out of trailers; environment is not 100% climate controlled
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Supporting a team-oriented environment with consistent schedules
Associate Shop Technician Responsibilities
Assemble hardware options and install them into copiers and printers per customer requests
Test units using standardized checklists and QA processes
Prepare and stage units for shipment
Use tools such as screwdrivers and nut drivers
Perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail and safety
Administrative & Computer-Based Responsibilities
Work in Oracle and transportation management systems
Update daily spreadsheets and perform UPS data entry
Schedule carrier pickups
Verify data on the warehouse floor and communicate with operations through computer systems
Ideal for candidates with warehouse clerk experience and strong attention to detail
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lifting for heavier units)
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, twisting, and performing physical tasks throughout the day
Basic technical knowledge (mechanical, electronics, or computer skills)
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Willingness to work overtime when needed; occasional Saturdays may be required
Good attendance, reliability, and openness to cross-training
No experience required — training provided
Dress code: sneakers, jeans, no sweatpants/stretch pants, no lettering on shirts or sweatshirts
