Packers & Forklift Operators – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Joliet / Elwood, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rates:
Packers: $18.50 – $19.50/hr
Forklift Operators: Based on experience
About the Roles
We are hiring reliable Packers and experienced Forklift Operators to join a fast‑paced distribution facility in the Joliet/Elwood area. These are full‑time, Monday–Friday positions with opportunities for long‑term placement.
Packer Responsibilities
Pack, sort, and prepare products for shipment
Read and enter basic data into the system
Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and verify items
Label, stack, and palletize materials
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow production and safety guidelines
Forklift Operator Responsibilities
Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts (must already be experienced)
Load and unload trailers
Move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse
Perform equipment safety checks
Support general warehouse operations as needed
Requirements
Must be able to work Monday–Friday on assigned shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Packers: Must be able to read, enter data, and use RF scanners
Forklift Operators: Must have prior experience with both sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts
Strong teamwork and communication skills
