Project Administrator / Construction Administrator
Location: Frederick, MD
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Administrator to support day-to-day operations for construction projects within a general contracting / project management environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update submittal logs, prepare submittal packages, and ensure timely document review and return.
- Assist with budget tracking, monitor project expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process and manage purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Collect, review, and enter employee timecards for payroll and job-cost reporting.
- Prepare and organize warranty documents and O&M manuals for project closeout.
- Support overall project management activities, including scheduling and documentation control.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files according to company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction administration, general contracting, or project coordination preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
