We’re looking for a skilled CAD Drafter to join the team in Frederick. You’ll support engineering and project teams by turning concepts into accurate, detailed technical drawings. This role works closely with project managers, field operations, and designers to keep projects moving smoothly and aligned with specifications. Details
Create detailed technical drawings and elevations using AutoCAD
Review project specs and collaborate with engineering, PMs, and field teams
Prepare and update drawings as project details evolve
Responsibilities
Modify existing drawings based on feedback from GCs, construction managers, architects, and engineers
Maintain organized version control across multiple projects
Conduct site visits when needed to gather field information

Requirements
3+ years of CAD drafting experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong understanding of design principles and construction practices
Ability to create precise schematics and technical drawings
Experience supporting civil, architectural, or engineering drafting
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Strong communication skills across departments
Glass/glazing drafting experience is preferred but not required
