Job Title: Case Manager
Location: Newark, NJ (Downtown – steps from Newark Penn Station)
Salary: $45,000–$46,000 annually (up to $48K for exceptional candidates)
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Case Manager to support individuals with disabilities participating in our vocational training and employment programs. This role blends social services, HR coordination, and case management in a mission-driven environment focused on empowerment, inclusion, and meaningful employment.
You’ll serve as a key advocate, problem-solver, and motivator; helping employees overcome barriers, succeed in their training, and thrive in the workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on impact, team collaboration, and a fast-paced, people-centered role.
What You’ll Do
- Individual Support & Case Management
- Serve as the primary support contact for employees during training and employment.
- Provide counseling, mediation, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
- Develop and monitor service plans to help employees achieve personal and professional goals.
- Track attendance, time off, and performance, offering coaching and corrective action when needed.
- Plan and coordinate employee recognition and incentive programs.
Administration & Compliance
- Ensure and maintain SourceAmerica/AbilityOne program eligibility documentation and confidentiality.
- Liaise with referral agencies (DVR, VA, OVR, etc.) and manage communication with partner organizations.
- Maintain accurate case records and data to support program evaluation and compliance.
- Assist with HR-related onboarding and support for call center employees.
- Contribute to Ticket to Work program management, including IWP documentation and follow-ups.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in social services, case management, or vocational support.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, rehabilitated workers, or supported employment programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and willingness to “wear many hats.”
- Compassionate, flexible, and proactive attitude with a passion for making a difference.
- Ability to occasionally work flexible hours if needed.
