Job Description
The Access Coordinator serves as the single point of contact for patients and their families, striving to achieve the benchmark of “one call does it all.” This position handles incoming calls, in-person scheduling, and online requests while coordinating care across multiple providers and locations. Responsibilities include collecting and verifying patient information, ensuring insurance coverage, obtaining clinical records prior to visits, and maintaining accurate data in EPIC. The Access Coordinator also supports referral management, follow-up appointments, and provides cross-coverage for other team members when needed. Above all, this role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to keep patients’ needs at the heart of every interaction.
